1. Exhaustion is real, it happens, and you just have to deal with it.
2. Naps have never felt so good.
3. It is possible to stare at a face for hours and hours and not get bored.
4. Helpful husbands are a gift from God and it's true your love grows deeper for each other when you have a child.
5. Little boys will pee on you, themselves, or anything around them when their diaper isn't on.
6. Breastfeeding is hard, tiring, painful (in the beginning), BUT has been the most amazing bond experience.
7. Cai screams when he is being tickled, when he is having nightmares, and when he is cold.
8. Google is my go to for all baby questions and surprisingly has ALL the answers.
9. Cai is incredibly alert and extremely loved by many.
10. Last, I've learned that my world has completely shifted. I learn things every day and being a mom is no easy task. However, I find peace in knowing that he will grow up with unconditional love from both his father and I, a God who loves him and will never leave his side, family and friends who will always be there for him, encouragement to always do his best, a passion for education, an urge to travel the world, a heart to serve and love people around him, and hopefully (crossing my fingers) a sense of humor like his dads :)
