Getting ready for it all....

So once again I have failed at keeping everyone updated. It's been a very busy 3 months since I last wrote. Work has been insanely busy which I have so much to be thankful for. My photography business has blossomed into something bigger than I could have ever imagined and every day I get emails with inquiries on bookings and packages. I am a bit scared as to what it will be like in Germany but I am confident that word of mouth will eventually spread and I can start working soon once I get there. I already have had several people contact me regarding photo shoots in Germany! How exciting :) My last photo shoot in Okinawa is on July 21st and I am so so so excited about it. I do enjoy my job very much but it will be such a relief to not have to edit a single picture for awhile and to be able to enjoy Cai and Cori fully the last month or so we are here on island.

Speaking of which...we are moving so soon!! Ahhh it's coming up so fast. Cori is in the process of doing all of the paperwork which is a royal pain and I feel bad I can't help him with it. Sometimes the military can be a real pain to deal with when it comes to getting things done. Regardless, we are moving a long and will eventually be off this island whether it be at the end of August or early September. We are VERY excited to start fresh in Europe and even MORE excited to explore  and travel Europe in our three year tour in Germany.

Michelle Farina visited us at the end of May and it was one of the best weeks I've had since being here in Okinawa. It was so awesome to spend quality time with her and be able to show her how beautiful and fun Okinawa is. I am so thankful for her friendship and love her to pieces. So happy she came to see us:)

The next 6 months should be a stressful yet fun experience. Cori and I will be celebrating our three year anniversary in Bali. Uhhh pretty much counting the days for this vacation! A couple of days after we arrive, Cori's dad and sister will be joining us in Okinawa for a visit. Very excited to explore the island with them and get to spend quality time with them both. I am sure they are excited about Cai most of all :) We leave to Germany shortly after their departure. Sometime in September/October I am going to try my hardest to make my way with Cai to the states to see everyone and finally late december/early january we will be spending a couple of weeks in CHILE. Thinking about our Chile trip can sometimes bring tears to my eyes. It's been a very long time since  I have been back and I miss that country and all of my family very much. It will be a family reunion that has been a long time coming and we are all SO SO SO happy. As you can tell, life in the Bemis family will be very hectic in the next 6 months.

On to Cai.... He is now 15 months old and growing more and more every day. He is an adorable little boy who loves music and loves to dance. It is one of his favorite things to do along with helping dad take out the trash. He loves being outside, hugging Lincoln, hitting Lincoln in the face, eating cheese sticks, watching elmo on our iphones, eating frozen veggies, running, twirling, climbing, AND swimming. Every day we annoy him with hugs and kisses. We still can't believe he is ours and how much he has grown over the past year. Hopefully in the near future we can give him a brother or sister to keep him entertained :)

We are doing great and appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and friendship. Will keep you updated once we leave this rock!
